Numerical Analysis of The Temperature Characteristics of a Coal—Supercritical Water-Fluidized Bed Reactor for Hydrogen Production

Supercritical water gasification (SCWG) of coal is a promising clean technology, which discards the traditional combustion and oxidation reaction to release carbon dioxide other pollutants replaces with reduction in supercritical finally convert into hydrogen-rich gas product no net emissions pollutant emissions, thus has received much attention recent years. However, experimental conditions hydrogen reactor are harsh, costly, not easy visualize analyze, so numerical calculation simulation analysis important for design, optimization, industrial scaling-up reactor. In order study effect temperature field on production rate reactor, model developed this paper. Comparing data literature, maximum relative error yield per kg between two less than 5%, verifies accuracy built method adopted On basis, effects slurry reactor’s products were investigated depth. The results show that increasing beneficial improve efficiency, while high conducive adequate reaction, reducing efficiency. For laboratory studied paper, ideal 850~900 K, 400–450 K. conclusions paper can provide some reference subsequent scale-up studies
